La PAC consacre chaque jour 2 euros par vache lorsque le tiers de l'humanité vit dans le même temps avec moins de 1 euro. De plus, il faut savoir que « Produire 1 calorie alimentaire consomme 6 calories en Europe (pétrole, nitrates, pesticides, etc.) et moins de 1 calorie en Afrique » (1).
En échange d'une renonciation aux aides actuelles on pourrait attribuer 2 000 euros mensuels à chaque exploitant de plus de 20 hectares soumis à des exigences écologiques définies. Le coût pour 350 000 exploitations serait de moins de 9 milliards d'euros, soit moins que le coût actuel (1)...
